The Celebration for Children’s Rights is First Star’s fun-filled West coast summer event. The evening's theme is: "Come be a kid again!"  Guests are encouraged to dress casually to enjoy carnival games, musical entertainment, five-star cuisine from L.A. restaurants and a top-notch silent auction.

At the Celebration, First Star recognizes individuals who have dedicated their lives and careers to children’s causes with the First Star Humanitarian Award. The First Star Image Award recognizes an outstanding achievement for children and families in the media and visual arts.

Proceeds from the event support First Star’s programs for child victims of abuse and neglect. Click here for more information.
